Peter Jackson missing: Fears grow for businessman who vanished eight days ago

Police are increasingly concerned for a businessman who hasn't been seen since setting off for work eight days ago.

38-year-old  Peter Jackson left his home in Seaham, County Durham at 8:20am last Monday but the alarm was raised when he didn't arrive at work.

He was driving a grey Ford Focus C max car with the registration FY05 CKD and a dent on the rear bumper on the passenger side.

Since then, Peter has not been in touch with family or friends, which has been described as extremely out of character.
