Camilla's candid comments show 'strength of their marriage'

The Duchess of Cornwall's candid but affectionate comments about Prince Charles shows "the strength of their marriage" and "the confidence she has in herself", says Telegraph's chief reporter Gordon Rayner 12:01AM GMT 14 Nov 2013

In an interview Cochin, India before leaving for Sri Lanka where the Prince will for the first time represent the Queen at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, the Duchess of Cornwall described the Prince as "exhausting and "difficult to buy birthday presents for".

Telegraph's chief reporter Gordon Rayner said she made the comments during a "very happy" off the cuff interview.

"The fact that she feels comfortable talking about him affectionately but in such candid terms shows no only the strength of their marriage after eight years but also the confidence she has in herself."
