The head teacher of the school attended by Daniel Pelka has been suspended, according to reports.
Darren Clews was the head of Little Heath Primary School, Coventry, when four-year-old Daniel was tortured and starved to death by his mother and step-father in March 2012.
Mr Clews has since left Little Heath and was employed as head teacher of another in the area, but has been suspended from that position pending further investigation into the boy’s death, ITV reported.
An earlier review into Daniel’s death found the school’s response to his injuries was “disorganised” and its safeguarding measures “dysfunctional”.
