'Slavery' suspect Comrade Bala seen at 1997 inquest

This footage, captured for an ITV documentary in 1997, is the only known video of Comrade Bala, the man arrested as part of the so-called slavery investigation in south London 4:40PM GMT 26 Nov 2013

Comrade Bala, whose real name is Aravindan Balakrishnan, is seen wearing a brown jacket and blue trousers as he attends the inquest into the death of commune member Sian Davies in 1997.

The man was arrested last week as part of the so-called slavery investigation in south London.
