A Baron's son has been given a curfew for attacking a policeman after rowing with his wife over divorce and a potential move to New York.
The Hon. Edward Charles d'Olier Gibson told BBC presenter Tanya Beckett she should go to America and leave him and the children to "get on with the rest of our lives".
A discussion about the couple's marriage over a bottle of wine had turned sour, prompting Gibson storm out of the house and spend one-and-a-half hours drinking at the local pub.
Before heading off Gibson urged his wife to move back into the marital bed, before adding: "Don't worry, I won't touch you because if I did it would make me want to vomit."
It was only when he returned to the house that Gibson got into a tussle with a policeman who was called following the dispute.
